Because Poodles and Golden Retrievers are both highly intelligent, our American Goldendoodles are highly trainable. Goldendoodles are usually very affectionate with people and other pets. They are human-oriented dogs, and tend to develop a strong bond with their owners and companions. Most goldendoodles are calm and easy going, but they are active dogs that do require exercise. Some goldendoodles like to swim, but not all. They tend to be great family pets and are known to be especially good with children!

Since 2005, Goldendoodles have been moderately used as guide dogs, therapy dogs, and search and rescue dogs, as they have inherited the poodle's intelligence and the golden retriever's ease of training.
The Goldendoodle is a hybrid cross of the Golden Retriever and the poodle.It is believed that the standard Goldendoodle was interduced in the 1990 and that the Mini/Meduim Goldendoodle was introduced in 2002. Some breeders are now breeding deeper generations of Goldendoodles.
Goldendoodles are known for their gentle and loving temperament. They are great with children. They usually get along well with other dogs and animals. They are social, energetic, and playful by nature. Goldendoodles are often easy to train because they are highly intelligent and eager to please their owners. Their train-ability also makes them popular as therapy and service dogs. It is believed that the Goldendoodle was inspired by the creation of the Labradoodle. The Goldendoodle gives some people who suffer from allergies and people who want a low to non-shed dog another option. We have annual puppy sales and older dogs for sale.
